Meet Omarr
In 1999 Omarr received his Bachelors of Arts in Photography and Digital Imaging. He attended the Ringling College of Art and Design, one of the most highly recognized and innovative arts colleges in the United States. He has had the privilege to teach photography, sculpture, drawing and painting nationally and in Central America.
After graduating, Omarr left Sarasota, Florida and worked side by side with actors and crew in New York television, including the day time dramas: All My Children, One Life to Live, Guiding Light, and As the World Turns. During this period, he garnered an array of skills, particularly in technical lighting, which he  continues to employ in his current work. Recently, Omarr again was able to step outside the family and special event realm, and photographed for television and film studios.
This, and other similar experiences, have heightened his interest for featuring portraits of individuals and families and enhance his passion for unique personal lifestyle and animal portraits. He also has the prestige of winning national honors, such as the Ava Video Award along with Imagination Unlimited Weddings.
To further add to his repertoire, Omarr is a member of the esteemed faculty at Ringling College of Art and Design. Omarr now will be able to share his knowledge, experience and passion for photography, sculpture and drawing with students at his own alma mater. Omarr proudly started in the 2011-2012 academic year. He started his art teaching career as a visual arts instructor at IQ Village, School of the Arts in Orlando, Florida. Following that, he started teaching in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, during the school year and at Ringling during the summer.
Currently Omarr is teaching 3D Art, 2D Art and Drawing I at Hagerty High School in Oviedo, Florida, the top rated school in the county.
