A Tul-Tuk is a motorized rickshaw in Honduras. If you keep up with my work, this is something I have been exploring lately. I don’t know what my attraction to these are. When I lived in Honduras, I was constantly surrounded by them. I lived in a little Pueblo, and there was a mile and a half hike up a mountain from where the bus left you to the center of the pueblo. It was a quaint town with multiple cafés and restaurants and a seven day a week farmers market. The people would run the Tuk Tuks from the bus stop to their tiny homes lining the mountains around the lake and restaurants.
I painted this one differently than the others from the series. I was doing some training for school and we started painting using Sultan watercolor. These are the materials I use to make this specific Tuk-Tuk.
